Game 5 Gameday: Florida Panthers at New York Rangers

The Florida Panthers will look to retake the series lead when they do battle with the New York Rangers tonight at Madison Garden in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final. Florida rebounded from back-to-back overtime losses by posting one of their own in Game 4 when Sam Reinhart scored for the 65th time this season 72 seconds into the fourth period after Aleksander Barkov drew a hooking call on Blake Wheeler. Sneaky Sam Bennett and Carter Verhaeghe also lit the lamp and Sergei Bobrovsky finished with 21 saves. Vincent Trocheck and Alexis Lafrenière scored for the Rangers. Lafrenière has three goals in the last two games. After falling behind 1-0 the Cats dominated the Rangers, outshooting them 29-10 the rest of the way. Keep that going…
